This purchase was the result of extensive research. I narrowed it down to this one and one that looked surprisingly similar. It became an easy choice. There are no problems with the flow meter. Easy to use. Follow the instructions. If you're having trouble reading carefully, go back and read the instructions again.

I wish it would do what it's supposed to do

The display is very nice. Navigating the display is easy. I have this for measuring the temperature of electrical connections and bearings. I work in a foundry where iron can get up to 3200 degrees Fahrenheit so I thought it would be a good idea to also check the temperature of the iron which is said to be between 2400 and 2700 degrees Fahrenheit. went into it. Milwaukee showed it at 240 and this one showed 60 at 110. Not very decisive in pace and way below what it should be. Now that I knew…

After 999 degrees, zero must be added to the readings.

Instructions are not complete, there are no instructions to tell the user that after 999 degrees Fahrenheit the display only shows 3 digits not four. In other words, the value 112 is actually 1120 degrees. It took us several hours to figure it out and a useless, expensive phone call to China. Also in the review you ask questions about the accuracy, how can anyone confirm the accuracy. The instruction manual is poorly written.
