I like the concept of a hanging socket with charging ports. It's not clear from the photos, however, that the power cord comes out the back, making it impossible to mount it flush with the wall, which seems to be its primary purpose. Flanges with holes at the top and bottom would lead the buyer to believe that this is possible, but it isn't. Hence my bad rating.

I have previously bought two from this seller and the cable came out the side - they were perfect. It never occurred to me to look at the picture to see if it had changed. I used it because it's hidden behind a dresser, but this new version must have been a mistake.

Good product if they just designed the cable exit on the side instead of the back. The device cannot be screwed flush with the four mounting holes. Ensures a messy installation on your surface.

We need a flatter splitter that fits behind a wall mounted TV. It worked really well, the cord length was perfect and there were now no unsightly dangling cords.

This is one of those weird items that could have been such a good idea, but somewhere along the way someone on the design team didn't quite get how it did would. Second hand. GOOD The best news is that it costs about what I think it should about twelve bucks. It's almost entirely made of plastic, but I don't see that as a disadvantage as it helps reduce the risk of impact in wet areas. As previously mentioned, the power cord exits through the center back, not vertically up or down like it should. It still works as a useful 6.5ft extension. The fastening design was simply invented, but not understood by the creators.
