Bucilla definitely makes the best felt products you can buy. The instructions are a bit complicated for beginners. Once you get the hang of it, you'll love the quality! However, don't be fooled! They take quite a long time to finish! They are intricate and detailed, which of course results in a beautiful handcrafted piece. They come with everything you need - we have extra embroidery threads and beads to add or embellish, but you don't have to buy anything extra.

I've made 4 out of 6 so far and I have to say the instructions are very vague. I've put together many kits over the years and it wasn't too hard for me to figure it out, but if yours is new you'll be disheartened. It also seems that the amount of material continues to decrease. Some felt colors are so thin they are almost transparent making it difficult to apply, the sequins are not cut well and will scratch and fade. As an experienced felt maker, this is my first time writing this review in Bucilla. The instructions on this set are difficult to follow. Use the image to guide placement of your beads, sequins, etc. If you make a placement mistake on some jewelry like a starfish, don't worry, it's ok. nobody will notice. The hangers you are asked to make in this kit will not hold up. Buy a rope for hangers. I sew so I have a lot of stuffing, but you can use cotton balls for stuffing. This is time consuming…
