The buckle is too heavy unless you have a very large dog. I ordered a plastic clip after returning it and am very happy with it. Also pay attention to the width of the collar.

Very cute bright colors. I particularly like the sturdy metal buckle. My dog is a 16 lb terrier mix perfect for him. He gave a 16kg poodle another - too heavy for him - and it slipped off his head.

I loved the durability and easy on and off of this collar with the harness. The pattern is gorgeous and adds a playful touch to the heavy collar. I have a medium to large dog and she loves the feel of her.

My twin Golden Retriever girls got them in their Christmas stockings this year. you love her! Smooth buckle does not pinch. Super trendy and the dog groomer asked where we got them from. They are well made and have survived plenty of rough action and ocean swimming. Literally gives new meaning to the phrase "buckle up, bitches!"

Actual collar is much smaller than advertised (online and on collar label). The collar had to be up to 17 inches long. It's just under 16 inches (and I made it as long as possible) including the clasps (which you shouldn't include in the length when measuring the collar). I had to go back for a larger size. I gave this product 2 stars because the size chart says it can fit Chihuahuas and other small dog breeds for the small collar I ordered but it doesn't. The company of this product or Revain really needs to correct the size chart. However I think this collar looks amazing and would look so cool on a dog but only on a medium to large sized dog. We ordered the smaller of the two available sizes for this rockin' collar. Its length has been reported as 9 to 15 inches, and in the pet industry, collars are measured by the length of the fabric, not including the buckle. This is a well made collar, beautiful but fully stretched, would fit a medium sized chihuahua at best! Our dog's current collar is 15 inches long as I mentioned above.
