Waterproof - electrical boxes

I don't know why it's listed as closed. It's waterproof. It has a tight seal to keep water out. I use mine for my solar panel. Batteries and controller fit perfectly.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Out of style

Great electrical box enclosure

Packaging size perfect for my application. I use the Inside robot. The box fits perfectly between my batteries and provides waterproof protection for my electronics. The walls are strong and thick enough to fit my electronics.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Poor performance

NEMA box to control landscape lighting.

Robust box that withstands outdoor weather conditions. The only wish was that it had knockout holes to make it easier to drill cable entries with a cleaner hole. 9/24/19 After 5 years outdoors, the hinges and the box are torn due to age. Wily needs to replace the box.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Suitable for

but this plastic seems pretty strong, durable and the right size for mine.

This box was purchased for a residential project which means I didn't have a big budget to buy a nice polycarbonate box, but this plastic box seems quite strong and durable and sized to fit my project . . It was also one of the cheapest on the internet.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • ---

This crate was purchased for a housing project meaning I didn't have a big budget for a fancy polycarbonate crate but this plastic crate seems quite strong, durable and just the right size for the home. My project. It was also one of the cheapest on the internet.

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Excellent Environmental Testing Chamber

Excellent Airtight Enclosure at a very reasonable price. I used this case along with a meter to check the formaldehyde content of my LL laminate. This provided damning evidence that, as expected, my soils were toxic. Check out the before and after pictures. Before without a soil sample and afterwards with a soil sample.

Pros
  • Electrical Boxes, Wiring and Fittings
Cons
  • unreliable

Exceeded Place NEC Code

I was adding an additional 240v panel to my workshop, there was already ¾ inch 5-12 AWG PVC pipe running through the room along the ceiling. I had to cut this wire and then replaced the wires going back to the main electrical panel with 8 AWG wire connected to a 40A switch. I needed a box to connect four 8 AWG wires, five 12 AWG wires, and four 10 AWG wires to my new subpanel. NEC code says I need a 39"² box to connect those 13 wires . But the codes never take into account how difficult it is…

Pros
  • Electrical
