Great for Arduino development

I have a 1.8" I2C display, 8 LEDs, 8 DIP switches, an encoder, two potentiometers, 7 momentary PBs arranged like a silver Apple remote are added an IR receiver, a controller with two motors and 10 pairs of 2mm connectors for various signals and power supply for use with a breadboard. Still a work in progress, but much better than the boards on the workbench. (I cut some curved lines but this will work fine.)

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Security

Great project box. SEVEN STARS!

This box fits all sizes and descriptions. The case is made of durable plastic, don't be afraid that it will crack with use. The "top" aluminum plate is heavy and stiff. The rear edge is internally deep enough to accommodate 6 half-inch toggle switches in a row. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! If you feel the height of the box might be too tall, you can remove the bottom 7/8" without losing the strength of the top half. Overall I am more than happy to have ordered this box. .

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Appearance

Front panel METAL! no plastic

The description says Material: Plastic Because it is wrong, it cost me a lot of delay. I assumed it was plastic as the description said. This is 1/8" aluminum metal so you will need a drill bit, metal file and similar types of METALWORKING TOOLS as you cannot cut or melt holes if necessary. I was hoping for a product with a truthful description. It would be 1 star but the shape and everything is very good, big for a project and there is a rectangular cut-out at the bottom on the back, why can't

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Killer ATS Project Box

I used this box to build an ATS button box and it turned out fantastic if I do say so myself! Fits with vinyl cover. The box is nice and roomy and quite capable of working with a long ignition switch, even when set low. The rear input panel on the back allows for USB, microphone and power connection installation, which makes for a nice professional look. I love this box and would buy it again for another project at any time. If you want to build a kill button box without using the boringโ€ฆ

Killer ATS project box

I used this box to build an ATS button box and I think it turned out fantastic! The aluminum plates are nice and thick, easy to drill without deformation and even with a vinyl overlay. ATTENTION: the photo does NOT correspond to the case supplied.

Photo does NOT match the case supplied. What you see in the picture is some sort of calculator-style raised case with two removable panels, one large and one small. The body comes with a sloping top and a large removable panel. There is no "step" on top and therefore has twice the volume. Please note the model number and dimensions are the same but the picture is not. My case label doesn't say "Style F" (whatever that is) and that could be a source of error, but why on earth would you have twoโ€ฆ
