The grit of the black nail files is ideal: on the one hand it is quite fine, on the other hand it is a bit larger. I used thicker files but this one was thick enough. If you held one end of it and put a lot of pressure on the other you could break it, but I found it quite strong when using it like I normally do. The gray file has a coarser grain. I wouldn't buy it again. You get a lot of files for the price, but the sanding blocks don't hold up and the black files aren't strong at all. The square file was the only one I could use more than once and I wouldn't pay that much for a nail file. Hopefully they improve the quality of the sanding blocks in the future, but I don't think I'll be buying them to try.

This is a good set for the money. I only wanted a few files because I was tired of buying one after the other and using them for too long. These aren't the best files, but they have both a hard side and a softer side, which is nice. I prefer square buffs, nails are super smooth afterwards!

Love this set of nail files and polishers. This is way better than many other brands that use paper bumpers that fall apart. Dear hard blocks and nail files should last a very long time.

I gave this review 2 stars and not 1 just because the buffer blocks are GOOD quality. The sticks are terrible. Not even used 1 minute and the file broke. Absolutely ridiculous. I had better luck with the file from the Dollar Store. Doesn't look like a 100/180 grit. I will not buy this product again.

These files and buffers are the best! The quality is much better than those sold separately in the cosmetics store. The price of all these files, including buffers, is a plus.

Love it! I am very happy with it. They're great, especially for the price, and very durable. In addition, the colors are very cute for display. The bumpers have four sides of sand, which is way better than most other bumpers I've found. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Update: This is my second purchase but I haven't even finished my first set yet. If you've only had your nails done for a few weeks, it should last about a year. The price for this quality and quantity of products is better than I could find in stores. Square buffers seem to last forever. Real files are good quality and durable, but they are not as strong as the special heavy-duty files on the market (which cost a lot more than these). I do my own manicures at home and these buffers are fantastic! I had an old buffer that I've been using for too long. I should have replaced it a long time ago. it's kind of a missing link for me. I'm not very happy with the shape of my nails while I'm studying. Once I got them I believe I found my problem.
