Difficult to use

I think this material would be easier to use if you already knew how to sew and had sewing supplies. I just wanted to glue one piece of fabric to the other along the seam. It was impossible to hold it together without pins. It doesn't get sticky for quite a while, so nothing stays together unless you pin it down. I am disappointed that I opened the package and cannot return it. It's almost useless to me now.

Pros
  • Machine washable and flexible after washing!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I ride motorcycles.

A friend gave me the idea of gluing pieces of fabric together instead of sewing (which I don't know how to do). I like to attach name tags to my motorcycle gear, usually with Velcro. This material makes the velcro patches hold very well and I use industrial strength velcro so it needs a STRONG adhesive to keep them in place. I have also used this material to glue silk material to helmet liners for easier on and off. It didn't go so well because the glued parts dried out into hard parts.

Pros
  • Permanent bond that works on different fabrics
Cons
  • Crumpled fabrics

WILL NOT hold flexible and secure with 3D items such as pom poms

I bought this to attach pom poms to a cotton t-shirt my daughter was wearing on her 100th birthday. school day will wear. As you might have guessed, I had to glue 100 pieces onto the shirt. This glue was mediocre; About a third of the bobbles fell off by the end of the school day, some within the first 15 minutes of wearing. ... but falls off when worn. On the plus side, the size of the handle makes it very easy to apply glue exactly where you need it. It's also not sticky at all like hot glue…

Pros
  • Easy to wash with soap and water before they dry
Cons
  • Very expensive
