Good quality and savings on your hollow jack stand

I bought a carry-on tag from Craigslist and immediately noticed that the jack's hollow tube was starting to sink in the mud. I'm not sure if it came from the factory, but if it did, it's long gone. This panel slipped right on and came with a clip to lock it in place. Looks nice and is very durable. It folds up nicely when you're ready to roll. Sometimes I move the front of a trailer to hitch it to my car and this plate does the job perfectly.

Prevented a major accident

Installed a few days before our first trip with a new small caravan. Bought as I thought it would be better for soft ground than the post that came with our trailer. On the third hitch, the balloon was not correctly adjusted and at 80 km/h on the Autobahn the trailer unhooked! The gods smiled at us like a brake switch and the safety chains (crossed) worked as intended, but that leg DID save our bacon! Great 'Accessories'

The original 2000 pound jack on our cargo trailer had no base plate. The lower lower shaft, after leaving the service station, was curved and egg-shaped. But it's not all bad. Now we have a 5,000 pound "man” who no longer needs an assistant to turn the jack handle. And we added a Fulton footboard. The Fulton footrest comes with a mounting pin, making it removable.
