Beautiful mantel clock

Beautiful clock for my mantel. The swinging pendulum is a useful feature. The ringer volume was quite loud at first, but easily adjustable.

Concerns about pendulum operation

I thought there was another motor to make the clock's pendulum swing, but it isn't. There are only two places for the battery (one each) and there is no fact that the instructions file indicates that the battery compartment is on the bottom of the watch. Is there a way to teach me how to fix the pendulum or can't the model I bought swing the pendulum mechanically? Many Thanks

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Looks great and sounds great!

I've always liked clocks that chime the hour, but I insisted on "real" bells, be they chimes, chimes, or gongs, due to the poor "synthetic" quality of electronically generated bells, when they first became available several decades ago. . I tested the Buluva B 1680 very carefully before buying it and was surprised at how authentic it sounded. The quartz gong Harmonic II PLUS produces a very realistic sound. I don't give a damn about the cheesy melodies he plays, but I'm quite happy with…
