Speed and Reliability in Data Storage

According to my experience, this SuperSpeed supporting connector is a lifesaver for computers with outdated ports. It is incredibly fast and reliable, providing smooth transfer of data without any hiccups. I loved the fact that it's bus-powered, so no external power source is required. However, the downside is that it's not compatible with a wide range of devices.

4 devices at the same time? nope

The USB hub must supply sufficient current, in this case at least 500mA, on each port, however this second self-powered/CI powered hub has mostly died after connecting a third device. Even if their devices like keyboards and mice require little to no power. Why have four ports if they can't be used for devices at the same time? My best guess is that it's just not drawing enough current, or matching enough current to a USB Type-C or Type-A port, which should deliver up to 1.5 amps at 5 volts. So
