It's good if you know how to use it

The app is key. You must know how to use this product. Light, with an international touch, in good light. I use the side, not the appliqué tip. There is a trick to applying eyeliner for a less harsh, more natural look. This advice applies very well to this product. It will stain the scalp if you don't apply it properly. Seems to last all day. I like the control over the spray type that is allowed

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Does such a wonderful job!

It's amazing! I have 18 gray hairs right on top of my head. That's all. I refuse to dye my hair; My natural color is beautiful, I don't like chemicals at all and I certainly don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of time and money at the hairdresser's. This is a phenomenal option for hiding those pesky gray hairs that are sticking out. The camouflage lasts until the next shampoo (I usually leave it in for 3-4 days) and the coverup doesn't leave hair dirty or chalky. HIGHLY recommend if you…

Best Touch Up

This product is a dream come true for covering gray hair between color treatments. I have dark brown hair and the extra days between salon visits can be exhausting to hide the gray with fullness and updos. It's a solid powder rather than a cream product, so it provides coverage without sticking to the hair, which interferes with the coloring process. I've had no issues with staying power or spreading to clothes and my hairstylist commends it. Unlike many retouching products, it does not alter…

Great colored pencil - Brown

I have one side of my temple that loves to go "platinum blonde" before the rest of my roots need to be recolored and this colored pencil is great! Even if it's expensive, it's worth it. Due to my work schedule I may not have time to touch up when I should and this colored pencil has helped me get through up to two weeks past my coloring deadline when I didn't have time to do so. It keeps a "smooth" appearance until you get the right color. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • The list will be long.

New favorite hair product

This root mask is expensive but got good reviews so I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. No messy sprays just a nice soft stick to apply to the roots. The color is perfect (I bought dark blonde), it lasts until washed off. It's super easy to apply, by grabbing a section of hair, pulling it straight out of your head and using the side of the crayon tip to apply it to your roots - just like you learned to "shade" areas in your coloring book. when you were a kid However, I only use it on my…

My perfect dream solution!

Yes yes yes! I have a bit of "hair drama" and was looking for something that would give me FULL CONTROL (after losing some front hair due to lack of control on my part!) and would be able to define the front hair and give the appearance of more front hair and definition Raising sparsely growing hairs at the hairline when everything is back to normal have made me feel so much better! I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE RIGHT AFTER RECEIVING AND USING THIS ONE. I spent money on several famous products and…

Works better than spray.

It's a little expensive, but not as expensive as touching up your roots. I prefer this to sterilization because when you spray it the color goes everywhere. The pencil covers exactly what you want to cover and lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Best for covering gray hair in hair dye

I love this chalk - it covers gray hair beautifully without running, melting, bleeding or coloring other parts of the body (like sprays do) None "Drying time - just use and go. I use it quickly when I'm between salon visits; this means it's smooth and easy, so I try not to overdo it to try and expand on it. I find This works best on my part and areas around my face Goes well with my other hair color I would like it cheaper.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Can damage

Great for hiding gray hair at the roots

I like the colored pencil. It is easy to use and blends well. My only complaint is that the tube is taller than what's actually inside, leaving a nice chunk of product inside the tube that gets lost once it's no longer crimped.

  • New
Cons
  • Some bugs
