I hand wash mine and so far they are working fine. It's easy to hold onto. Likes to use her to chew more, but she's still learning. (10 months)

This is a great set for toddlers and toddlers learning to use cookware. They are made of soft silicone but strong enough to have a good use. Perfect size for children's hands and mouth. I plan to buy more for gifts.

My 11 month old has been using them for several months. The other day she started pricking food with a fork. It was very easy for them to hold and try to eat them. Ideal for teaching a child.

This is a really great starter spoon, I bought a few sets. Longer spoons result in more food being thrown away or simply skipped. The child has this under control from the start (at least not knocking on it). Very strong, you can't be afraid that it will wear out.

We started mashed potatoes with the number of spoons. My son is used to being given a spoon he won't let us feed. Every time we tried to use a regular baby spoon, those long spoons that are sold, he ended up choking because he pushed it in too deep. They were perfect little things. It can chew without damaging the gums. They have a good grip and he has better control over them.

We have both Bumkins and Grabease. I really didn't want to pay the extra money for an extra rake and felt it was a waste of time so I tried Bumkins. My son finds it very difficult to use the Boomkins version as the fork is not stiff enough to pierce food. He gets upset when I have to help him because he wants to do it himself. Grabease is made of a much harder material and if a child presses on it, it gets into the food. My son is just over a year old, not sure if this will be useful to anyone.
