⚙️ Bung Knock Thread Gasket Brand: Enhancing Seal Efficiency for Optimal Performance Review

The threads were fine but the sealing area of the lid was deformed (think the rim of lasagna pasta). The distortion was one sixteenth of an inch between the top and bottom corners, which is approximately the expected compression of the gasket. I haven't even tried to use them. My application requires a good seal when the 55 gallon keg is on its side. My original caps are perfectly correct but they don't have a threaded hole so I wanted to buy these new ones.

We had four large 55 gallon blue drums that were used as floats for a raft. After years of use, cracks appeared on the inner surface of the original corks, causing water to seep into the kegs. I was going to use these plugs to seal the fresh water storage barrel in our RV, but when I tried to install the plug in the barrel the threads were so tight that the recommended torque was only about 1/3 the plug of the Length. After removing it, I saw that the part was "wavy" due to deformation of the overmolding around the 4 clamping lugs. Really disappointed with this product, no point in sending it back from New Zealand for a refund as the postage is more than the value of the product…
