It works great on my door. Not loud and not quiet. Quite a sound actually. I literally hang them on the doorknob and don't hear when one of my grandmothers tries to sneak in to surprise me. No more surprises :)

I wanted to do some upper body training in the garden and got the climbing rope. I was looking for a bell to hit the tip and it worked pretty well. The string is strong and the bells have withstood the weather. Make a noticeable but not loud noise.

I can't comment on these bells as the package sent was found on the street and crushed. Needless to say, they were useless. They really looked like the craftsmanship was good. I really wish I could use them.

They're a little smaller than I thought they would be, but they still work well enough for what I need them for! We use them to teach our pups to signal us to go outside! I think they will serve their purpose very well. They sound good too. Good pitch and not too loud to be annoying but loud enough to get my attention.

The bells are well made and make a nice sound. However, I found it difficult to hang the bells, so when someone opened the door to my shop, they rang. It takes a lot of movement to activate the flap. I ended up hanging them on the door closer handle, but the bells hit the door and glass more than they rang.

We have a retail space surrounded by offices, it's impossible to tell when someone walks through the door. We've tried just about every brand of electronic doorbell, those that attach to the door and those that plug in. They invariably only last a few months, so I went with the old-school solution. Happy to report it's still working after a few weeks, even the batteries aren't needed yet ;)

Used it for a dog doorbell for my lab. We taught her how to ring the bell when she needs to go out or come back. They were hit by both my toddler and dog and are still holding on. Sufficient load for our purposes. We don't intend to win any design awards, but our goal was functionality, not beauty. The outside bell has started to fade a bit. So if you have a decorative outdoor doorbell planned, this may not be the best long-term solution. But as I said, we needed cheap calls that worked. You…
