🔧 BURLY B28-1201B 10.5-inch Black Slammer Shock Review

Bought to make my old lady look sporty, rides well. Would give 5 stars but the decal pictured looks cool. but it's not the sticker that was sent with it, too bad it didn't have a show on the picture

a little later. Fits perfectly on my 883 iron. Very easy to install if you have a bike jack. The instructions were detailed and the stickers were in the box, good thing they weren't included, I like the simple look. They are progressively made so don't worry about the quality.

I bought the Slammer to replace the lowering block kit on my Sportster. Doesn't matter! This lowered the bike an inch and a half, giving me the extra half inch I needed to touch the ground. More importantly, the ride is smoother than ever.

So these are great hits. However, I see two disadvantages. First, they include a very flimsy and flimsy wrench for adjusting the dampers. This makes it slip a bit. Second in the picture these shock absorbers with a red sticker. I like it because everything on my bike is black and red. However, when I received them, a white sticker arrived. It would look ridiculous on my bike since I don't have any other white. So don't show me a picture of something and send me something else.

Great Value. I'm glad everything about them is black. I have previously purchased a slammer kit and the spacers and fork springs were actually longer than my factory settings (on the HD Nightster). The included Slammer shocks come pre-installed with Burly decals. When I bought them (shocks only) they came with separate stickers. Installed on my 2018 Harley Iron 883. Slightly reduced compared to standard shocks. The shock height difference is only about 1/2 inch. I wanted an additional ride height reduction, so I installed it anyway and only noticed a very slight noticeable difference in overall ride height. My jack was harder to get out from under my bike after installing the new shocks than when I slipped under slightly when I started with the slightly larger stock shocks.
