Good quality. - Shock absorbers

Always good quality from Burly. I have these on 3 bikes and no problems. They're progressive, so that's a plus. Of course, they are just as soft as the originals, but offer good stability and fill out the tire better.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Reliability

Highly recommend for Suspension

Amazing shock absorbers, bike looks very cool, very easy to assemble, jacking up took longer than replacement! Remember you need 2 people because when they are so low on the bike you need help to get up off the jack. Here are some before and after photos:

  • Impressive

Install FXDX with FXD shock bolts

It was possible to install a 2001 FXDX with FXD bolts. The upper shock bolts are $40 each from HD. Slammed super low. Great product and fast shipping. Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I have trimmed part of the belt guard to leave room around the left fender, my scooter looks amazing and the fender is no longer irritating to the eyes. Make sure you fully compress the swingarm to 9 1/2 inches, which is the max height for these shocks, and trim whatever you can. The spring tension wrench is better than I expected. I highly

If you have basic motorcycle mechanic skills they are pretty easy to install

I ordered these to replace my 2015 Street Bob. If you have basic motorcycle mechanic skills they are pretty easy to install, if not there are plenty of resources online to help you. Installation took about 45 minutes without an elevator. They lowered the bike about 1.5 inches, which is what I was looking for. The blacked out look is awesome and the red decals are optional, they are included but not required to be worn. (I haven't) There is only a small difference in handling because they are…

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Not bad
