Organic Red Dahlia Lip Balm with Shea Butter & Botanical Waxes - 100% Natural, 1 Tube Review

I'm a big fan of Burt's Bees tinted lip balms and this is my first time trying zinnia. That's exactly what I wanted: a light terracotta with a very light earthy pink undertone. Uber, like all these shades, is moisturizing and gives your lips an unbeatable color "perk" if you want to feel like I'm not wearing lipstick (pretty much what I feel every day :)

Pink Blossom is a beautiful soft pink color (see photo). Mine is a very noticeable color difference as I have very pale lips, but if you have darker lips they can appear more translucent. Makes my lips beautiful and hydrated! Not sticky at all. You'll need to reapply every 1-3 hours or so or after eating/drinking, but that's pretty average for a tinted balm. I have fair skin and dark ash brown hair and this color suits me perfectly.

The color of the Sweet Violet lip balm is very transparent, so it only gives a hint of colour, never too bright. It looks very natural, so don't expect a big pop of color. The lip balm is very moisturizing and can be applied frequently. Because the paint is so translucent, it can be kept in your pocket and often applied without access to a mirror.

I ordered this because I love the feel of this lip balm and the shade. However, when I received it, there was a scan label on it. I don't know what type of adhesive is used on the label, but I couldn't remove it no matter what I did. I think there must be another way to scan this product. I can buy this from Target without a scan label. So I was disappointed because it looks pretty tacky. I will use it at home and not take it with me.

I have very light skin so this may not apply to you but based on the description I thought the pink color was a little darker than my normal lips. It looks a lot darker on me - doesn't really matter but I usually just apply lip balm without looking in the mirror and since it's darker it's still on my lips but looks like lipstick that's not applied became. OK. I like that it has no taste or smell. I'm sure I use it because I wear a mask most of the time when I see other people.

First I have to say that the color really helps balance out the chapped and flaky lips I often get (regardless of the time of year). I use this tinted lip balm quite often. Meanwhile, I also switch between lip gloss and shimmer. Thanks to the wide variety of colors available at Burt's Bees, I stick to the same color. MOISTURIZATION/FEEL: Burt's Bees (as well as Vaseline) are always my favorite lip moisturizers. As this is a tinted lip balm it has a slightly oily base but still has that classic beeswax feel. . In general, the color is very delicate. It's perfect for adding some color to your face, especially if you have pale lips. Sure, it tastes like beeswax.
