🏺 Vintage Charm with Bush Furniture Yorktown Lateral File Cabinet in Antique Cherry Review

Great! I assembled them myself and it was pretty easy. The only thing I did differently was I nailed the back, I didn't use the tiny screws that came with the kit. To each their own, I love them.

Cheap materials, chipped wood, inaccurate and unclear assembly instructions, too vague made me waste time going back to the previous steps to take apart a bookshelf just to fix the part that leaked out the wrong way.

I used to buy Bush furniture and wanted their products. So I went ahead and bought 3 of these. I would rate these bookshelves 5 stars but the shelf on one of them didn't fit. It was about 1/2 inch shorter. In general they are fine.

You get two of these bookcases for your money and that's probably the end of the bargain. Unfortunately, both bookshelves are VERY short. Much shorter than a traditional bookshelf and not worth the money in my opinion. We built one and left the other sealed - think twice about that purchase.

This is a good filing cabinet for the price. It was easy to put together for the most part, although some of the drawings confused me (which isn't unusual for me!). I was hoping each drawer would have two sets of folders but it doesn't seem to hold two. Maybe my files aren't the right size? It can be opened and closed very easily and is an attractive addition to the home office.

This is a flimsy bookshelf definitely not worth the price. The two sides of the bookcase are made of cheap plywood, and due to the way the product was packaged, there is a lot of stress in the middle of the boards. There are extras that are stronger and heavier than the side panels, but because they are extras they don't add to the bookcase's strength at all. They really cut it in the most important moments. Even if it comes unbroken, I'm not sure how long it will last.

This is my second purchase of this cabinet from Revain. I have a few pros and cons below: Pros: Once assembled it is sturdy and works as expected and intended. I love the look of cherry wood and have most of the collection. It complements my Yorktown desk, dresser, bookshelves and other filing cabinets perfectly. This is a solid piece of furniture but for a number of reasons I think this is a much better buy if you only use the legal size binder hangings and not medium letter size . Pros: - Beautiful design and classic look. - Sturdy once assembled - Deep, roomy drawers - Drawers slide smoothly and require an extra push to flick a switch that seats them firmly. - The laminated device I received was undamaged and looks quite attractive.
