🔭 Bushnell Ultra HD Roof Prism Binoculars - Legend Series Review

These are pretty good binoculars for the money. Bright and sharp. The actual construction of the binoculars is top notch. The focus wheel has no play, the eyecups are smooth and firm, and the rubber armor feels good in the hand. I've always been a bit skeptical of Bushnell Legend binoculars because they don't have phase correction, which is fairly common in high-end binoculars with rooftop prisms, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. The image through them is very pleasant.

The box arrived as it was previously opened. The Amazon price is already $60 more than the manufacturer's advertised price. It is simply unacceptable to ship a used product for which buyers are paying the price of a new product. There is a crack or hair-like object in the right eyepiece. I bought this on Revain's sale of the day. I wanted another pair for the awesome kids to use for hunting when they are with me. I was amazed at how well built and understandable they are for the money I spent. My $500 Vortex binoculars are good, but I like the Bushnell better! My Vanguards with ED glass are fine too, I can't complain about any of these binoculars. Vortex binoculars are lighter than Vanguards and Bushnell, but to me they are just as clear. When we first moved to this part of the country there were a lot of birds and animals everywhere. My wife enjoys looking at them, so I bought her some binoculars recommended by the shopkeeper. They were terrible. After suffering with them for about six months, I started asking and virtually all of my friends recommended the Bushnell Legend HD. I ordered a few and they are everything we expected and more. In particular, the sharpness of the images and the ease of setup make them worth the money.
