Quantity: 2 Pack. 30A, Type SC Cartridge Fuse. Compact, Time Lag Feature. 13/32" Diameter, 300V. Compact branch-circuit unit with high interrupting rating and current-limitation. With 600V rating, it can be used in 120/208, 120/240 and 277/480V circuits. Length variations relative to case size make this a "rejection" type fuse. In general, SC fuses are about 1/3 the size of the 600V NEC fuse type. Fuse has a degree of overload time-delay which permits it to pass temporary overloads. At 200% load, it has a minimum opening time of 12 seconds.

Keep them in stock if you have a hot tub

I use them on my hot tub. After watching the mechanic, I realized that ANYONE can work on a hot tub by going online and asking at the spa depot or any of the online hot tub parts sites. If the mechanic swaps out the motor, it costs $700. Most motors on the web cost less than $200. All you have to do is disconnect the old one, loosen a few screws, install and replace the plumbing fixture. But check the fuses first. Pumps are marked on the circuit board. Have lots of spare parts ready!

Works great as a replacement for my spa's main ozone circuit board. Without this feature, the entire whirlpool will not work. It's very easy to pull out and swap out and I keep spares. But the backup only lasts 4-6 months or so. Many switch-on cycles (e.g. after a storm) usually lead to a short service life. But one fuse is better than all my electronics. Luckily I don't have to pay anyone to install this and it takes a few minutes. If it hadn't blown so easily I would have given 5 stars.

Inexpensive do-it-yourself repair of a blown fuse. An affordable way to have something on hand.

I have a hot tub and sometimes due to power surges or blackouts the fuses do what they are supposed to do and protect the circuit board. The first time this happened when I went into business I bought my tub and got $19 + tax for just one! That was a few years ago and I've been shopping online ever since with significant savings.
