Bussmann (BP/FMX-60-RP) Yellow 60 Amp Female Maxi Fuse Review

I ordered two of these because my car's cigarette lighter sockets were shorted out due to poor tire filler wire insulation. The fuse did its job and saved me a lot of maintenance money.

I used this to provide constant power to my trailer wire harness on my 03 Silverado. It was a direct match. I've checked that it works, but haven't towed it with it installed yet. If there are any problems I will update my rating.

Our GMC Acadia requires the 50A fuse (along with some other smaller fuses) to be removed if towed on four wheels. It comes with that amp fuse, just in a shorter body. This larger one fits in the underhood fuse box, and since it's larger than the others, it's easy to tell which one to pull. It can be removed with your fingers as it also sits higher than the rest. We will fit the derailleur over time but for now it is an inexpensive solution that will make it quicker and easier to hook up the car
