I love this sewing machine! Exactly what I was looking for to go through the thick connecting seams. Works great on my Bernina sewing machine.

As advertised this tool works well for sewing on buttons or as a bridging tool. It's good that one side is thinner than the other, which allows you to adjust the legs of buttons of different sizes or seam thickness. There are other canes that are similar, but I like this one better because of the hole for the needle. I use this tool most often for changing needles, it helps me get into tight spots by holding the needle properly while tightening with my other hand. Love it.

This is the most amazing gadget for anyone who sews. I had one that originally came with the sewing machine but somehow got lost over time. I missed it so much and when I saw it and at such a great price I had to buy it. Not only is it great for sewing on buttons, but for those of us repairing jeans or other items with thick seams, it allows you to sew those seams without breaking the needle or pulling the material through the presser foot.
