Great innovation, so easy to use. Our Houston home flooded during Harvey, and while there was no drywall, I ran CAT6 in all the right places. These little devices made the final install look professional and it was so easy. Simply place a standard Ethernet plug at the end of the barrel, plug into the device and wall mount. A simple connection cable runs from the wall plate to your device. Easy installation with drywall router and screwdriver.

If you cut the wall according to the pattern, the hole will be too big! Look carefully at the frame and mark the template where it should be. Mine fit perfectly and I had no trouble screwing it in. People with damaged screws must be doing something wrong or lying. You must use a good Phillips screwdriver, NOT a drill or whatever they used! This usually causes such damage and can damage the thin plastic bezel. 3 stars due to poor instructions/pattern. But I still recommend it if you're careful…

I just wanted to be able to disconnect and tidy up ethernet from my room that has a hole in the wall to the next room where there is a router. a pain in trying to draw around the mounting bracket with a pencil while trying to attach it and then I had to cut something closer to the edge because the way the bracket is constructed it's not an easy one can make the right track. This was a minor issue though and I wouldn't deduct stars for it, it's just the nature of a project like this. For anyone…
