I used this trim to replace the trim on a Hansgrohe bathroom faucet. It works very well and looks great. Remember that it is much lighter and therefore less stiff. Due to the lighter weight, be careful not to overtighten the faucet (this could warp the plate). Again, the packaging is excellent. It is fully and securely packaged to avoid scratches during installation and also boxed to avoid damage in transit.

and the cold water faucets were defective. Turns out you can't buy them at any plumbing store. I have contacted the seller who claims that if we email them they will not get photos of the parts I need. I don't know why, they are there, life size. Now I have a wonderful faucet that hasn't worked for 2 months. I'm tempted to order another and take out the parts I need and then return it. Seems like the only way to get the parts to make the damn thing work!

UPDATE: One year later. The BWE Escutcheon Deck Plate has served us well! It's in one of our main bathrooms, which gets very busy. It still looks like new. We haven't had any issues with rust or dents. It was perfect in every way! I still highly recommend it. Can you buy higher quality? Probably! (but not at this price!) It was perfect for our needs! Looks good but as soon as you start tightening the faucet the metal starts to sag in the middle. If you just leave it tight, the faucet will spin as it is not installed properly. I ordered the plate online from Hansgrohe 06490000 Base Plate, 6" Chrome, which is solid brass and won't break (much more expensive but worth it). My suggestion would be to somehow support the cargo area with shims under the plate, before trying to land your crane. My faucet was also a Hansgrohe single hole faucet…
