Precision Cut for Perfect Leather Crafts

This tool is amazing for anyone involved in Arts and Crafts, especially Leathercraft. It cuts through leather-like butter, making it easy to create precise shapes and sizes. The sturdy build of the product ensures that it will last for years of crafting. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey, but the investment is definitely worth it for anyone serious about their leatherwork.

Pros
  • This leather cutting gauge is made by a trustworthy brand in the leatherworking industry, C S Osborne. It is a durable and reliable tool that allows for precision cuts and measurements, ensuring that leather pieces are consistent in size and shape.
Cons
  • One potential drawback of the C S Osborne gauge is that it may be too expensive for those who are just starting out in leatherworking or those who only work on small projects occasionally. However, given the quality and durability of the tool, it may be worth the investment for serious leatherworkers.

Good workmanship

Very nice knife. It needs to be sharpened when you get it (most sharp tools dull by the time I find a ship). So far I've cut about 10 straps. Worked very well when sharp

Pros
  • Leather processing accessories
Cons
  • So far so good

Blade does not match guide

The blade on this gauge is not parallel to the guide. Because of this, it will not cut a flat piece of leather or rawhide. This tool doesn't cost $60. Do yourself a favor and buy a better one.

Pros
  • Leathercraft
Cons
  • Drill Pack
