Increase the power running to a portable hard drive from your PC or Mac. When a standard USB cable cannot transfer enough power to operate an external device, such as a portable 2.5in hard drive. Simply plug this cable's USB B end into the device, and then plug the two USB A ends into open USB ports. This cable is not designed to split USB signals to multiple computers. The two USB A connectors are meant to plug into USB ports on the same computer.

So close yet so far.

I wasn't sure if it would do what I needed so I didn't have high hopes or anything. But I was still a bit disappointed. I bought this to hopefully turn on the DAC I was using with the computer so I can connect my OnePlus 3 (which isn't giving it enough power) with an adapter but while it charges both the phone and the DAC/ powered. It doesn't recognize the DAC on the phone. It works for other purposes but does not connect two devices. It could be a cable fault or the converter I used from USB-A

Waste of money if your only goal is to connect two computers to one printer.

Waste of money. I bought this item to connect two computers to my printer. Unfortunately, the red accessory (as advertised) does not connect the computer to the printer, making this product unusable for me. After setting it up, I requested a full refund. Don't waste your time buying!

With the NO POWER USB HUB you can connect everything to your iPad iPhone!

is a great product. allows you to power USB devices not normally supported by iOS devices through the camera adapter - and all you have to do is first connect a non-powered USB hub to the adapter, and you're good to go. I don't even know what the blanket is as I had a Scarlett 2i2, a Korg Microkey and a Keith Mcmillen 12step all hooked up and working at the same time - it's quite amazing. Combined with a non-powered USB hub, it effectively turns your iOS device into a legitimate USB device.

The perfect solution for my iPad recording needs!

Cable arrived as promised, works great! I had to connect my own mics to a Focusrite 2i2 DAW through a mixer so I could record directly to my iPad Air 2 and this cable did the job perfectly. No tech glitches, durable cable, color coded USB ports, just what I needed!
