So close yet so far.

I wasn't sure if it would do what I needed so I didn't have high hopes or anything. But I was still a bit disappointed. I bought this to hopefully turn on the DAC I was using with the computer so I can connect my OnePlus 3 (which isn't giving it enough power) with an adapter but while it charges both the phone and the DAC/ powered. It doesn't recognize the DAC on the phone. It works for other purposes but does not connect two devices. It could be a cable fault or the converter I used from USB-A to C, but if anyone else has a cable suggestion please let me know.
