Great for small workspaces

I love the compact design of this dock. I was able to connect my laptop to dual monitors without spending $150-$200 on a docking station with a USB-C cable. Exactly what I needed to make my work at home a lot easier than trying to work with a single monitor.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Works right out of the box

I bought this for Lenovo X1 Extreme and it works perfectly. I connect the monitor, hard drive, microphone and network cable. It does not heat up and does not fall out. Internet does not slow down, monitors and USB devices respond. Games on the connected monitor do not lose frames and do not slow down. Good product!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons

worked right away: notebook accessories

worked immediately, without drivers or any settings. Used on a Windows 10 tablet. Pass-through power, video and network work great out of the box. The dock is nice and small. no mounting options. I used a zip tie and screw to secure it to the back of the cabinet and tuck the wires out of the way.

Just what I needed for WFH

I bought this dock to use in these fine days of WFH. I have a Toshiba laptop and needed this docking station so I could use an extra monitor. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but I used it every day and I definitely got my money's worth. It was delivered quickly and I was able to get started right away.

Problems with some power supplies and some displays

Thing doesn't work very well. My Lenovo laptop did not charge from a single power source when going through this dock. And it does something with my monitor (a Dell monitor connected to a brand new Lenovo X1 laptop with an HDMI Revain Basics cable) so some programs don't display properly. So this dock is rubbish for me. I'm giving it two stars because at least it's not completely broken. But obviously it doesn't work very well. Do not buy.

  • Price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not quite plug and play

Well you get what you pay for. I was hoping that 1 laptop connector would be easy to pick up and carry out. I was hoping it would charge my laptop. I was . OK. I was too lazy. and in my defense. I didn't go to Best Buy to ask. It's mid Covid now so I just pushed the button. In a nutshell. It's a renowned center. The HDMI port did not work. I suspect that the old laser printer is not working. It's like the driver is missing. With time, maybe I'll understand why it doesn't live up to my…

Power Delivery finally works for Dell XPS

is the only docking station that will power Dell XPS laptops (dock with NIC card). I tried it with 2 others who said they could do it but couldn't get the job done. This particular dock is also listed on the Dell website. This particular dock actually looked like it wasn't a generic fake when the package arrived. Other docks I've tried arrive with no product label on the device, which is also suspicious. This docking station is particularly good because it has a network card. There is one from…
