Works with Canon R60 camcorders.

This cable replaces your video camera in addition to the brick of your tablet. A Canon factory cable costs $29. That works great.

R800 does not work with batteries and chargers

R800 camera works with 5.3V and 5V from USB is not enough for the camera to work - apparently it slowly charges the battery even if it does the camera is off.

Works with Canon HF r800

I bought 2 of these for my 2 HF R800 camcorders because I want to use them with a rechargeable battery. I confirm that they work without problems. Plus, you don't need to insert or charge a Canon battery. Simply plug this cable into the R800's USB 2.4A port and power it on.

Charger HF R70

I bought a Canon HF R70 from Goodwill which didn't have a charger and it worked great. The cable comes as no surprise. As I said, it loads.

Saved me from changing my camcorder!

My camcorder's internal battery connectors are worn out. Even though the battery is fully charged, the camcorder turns off. This cable to my smartphone battery powers my camcorder for hours! Saved me from replacing a camcorder that I only use occasionally.
