The durable cable made it.

Works as described. I needed this article to connect a computer that only had HDMI outputs to a monitor that only had DVI. Worked great. It's nice to have a second one on hand in case the first one breaks, but they look so solid I may never use the second one.

A pair of perfectly working adapters

A pair of perfectly working adapters. To be honest I screwed up saying there was only one adapter in the box. It seems that when you pulled out the first adapter, the second, still in the box, fell out from under the computer desk. There were two in the box and both work perfectly. Many Thanks.

Perfect solution for my new PC

Perfect solution for my new PC. The new PC only had an HDMI output or a VGA output. The monitor only had VGA and DVI inputs. I wanted the best quality digital image, so this was the perfect, economical solution. Goes from my PC's HDMI output to the monitor's DVI input. It is not necessary to restart your computer. It is not necessary to reset the settings on the monitor. I just plugged it in and it worked.

Good quality adapter for DVI to HDMI adapter

I was nervous about the quality when ordering because nowadays it seems like you never get what you think when you shop online these days. However, I was very impressed with the quality of the adapter, the professional packaging, the flawless functionality and the "after-sales service". Can fit multiple adapters side by side on a tight graphics card

The main reason I bought these is for a desktop computer to be used as a surveillance station. It has multiple graphics cards with HDMI connectors that need to be connected to eight 24-inch computer monitors with DVI connectors. The HDMI ports on graphics cards are very close together and I had to find adapters that could be installed close together. You are perfect for our situation. The picture quality is excellent and there was no problem fitting the adapters together so closely.

My retropy problem solved!

I originally used another one piece HDMI to DVI adapter to connect my Raspberry Pi to an old DVI monitor. It worked for a while, then the monitor started flashing when the Pi was powered on. In a last ditch effort to get the setup working again, I decided to try this adapter. I used an old DVI cable to go from this adapter to the monitor and then connected the HDMI end of the adapter to the Pi. Went like clockwork! no more flashing screen. My guess is that the other adapter lost signal…
