Unreliable Micro Cables for Computers

These cables started off okay but eventually stopped working. I experienced multiple connection issues, and the cables would randomly disconnect from my computer. While the length was convenient, the unreliability of these cables made them a waste of money. .

Pros
  • Convenient length
Cons
  • Unreliable connection, stopped working

It works as a passive USB hub for controllers

This worked for my purpose of installing the USB hub about 15 feet away with the cable tucked away neatly. I'll update when it dies, although it's stationary and only disconnects to the back of the desktop so I don't see any issues. Use something more powerful than a keyboard or mouse. Something like an external hard drive would require a powered USB hub. USB 3.0 delivers up to 1.5-2 amps at most, 2.0 can go up to 2.4, but you probably won't get 2.4 amps from a USB cable. with power input…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not bad but...
