Description of 🎙️ Premium XLR to XLR Microphone Cable - 2-Pack, 6 Feet - Cable Matters

Pro-grade microphone cord is designed for microphones or other professional recording, mixing, and lighting equipment with the 3 pin XLR connectors. Convenient and cost-effective 2-pack microphone cables provide spare or replacement XLR cables (XLR male to female cable) to use on a set of microphones or on different systems. Balanced Mic cable with soft PVC jacket is constructed with oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors for delivering pristine sound. Copper braided shielding of these Mic cables provides maximum cancellation of hum and noise; Polyethylene insulation improves high frequency response. Heavy duty metal connectors with molded strain relief and grip treads increase durability and help easy plugging and unplugging. The Mic cord is compatible with equipment with 3-pin XLR connectors such as shotgun microphones, studio harmonizers, mixing boards, patch bays, preamps, speaker systems, and stage lighting with an XLR cable port.

Cable will not "attach " to my built-in Cloudlifter preamp

I bought a pair of 6ft cables because I wanted great cables for my new SM7B dynamic mic and the built in Cloudlifter preamp I bought it for. Although the cables fit the male side of the Cloudlifter, they do not "lock" together. (My old audio cables work.) I suspect this is due to the somewhat non-standard cable lock/unlock mechanism. This is disappointing! I love product innovation, but not when it violates design standards that ensure interoperability between devices. Now I have to decide…

Quality cables at a good price

These are quality cables at a great price. Each pair is packed in a beautiful box, a pleasant surprise. The cables are thick and strong, yet flexible and easy to use. They have a black metal housing and gold-plated connectors. I haven't had them long enough to know how they hold up over the long term, but I have a feeling they will stand the test of time. Only time will tell, but right now I have no reason not to give them a solid five. Good product. UPDATE: I've added many more XLR cable…

Professional cables! Pure sound!

Awesome XLR cables at an unbeatable price. I'm not sure if it takes much more work! The cable is very thick and quite flexible which is a sign of a quality cable. The plugs are also very durable. I use them with a Shure SM57 for an instrument/amp mic. I could not find any interference in the cable. Cable Warning: While it's tempting to use long cables to be as flexible as possible, I find cables cheap enough that you can afford to buy cables in a variety of sizes and sizes. Use the shortest…

I purchased this product based on a claim that turned out to be false.

. While I give this product 1 star, it should work fine for audio applications. The cable looks good. Why 1 star? Well I'm an engineer and in my business "specs" are everything. If a supplier lies to you about something, you lose faith in everything they say. As a hobby, I use XLR cables to distribute DC power from one box to another - I usually make my own cables because I need wires larger than 22 AWG, which seems to be the standard for audio cables. Except for Cable Matters who can proudly…

  • may damage

TL;DR: These cables are of very good quality, free from glitches and defects, at a fairly reasonable price. I ordered these because the last few cables I bought from CableMatters were pretty good quality and arrived really quickly. It was also the right length and price for what I was looking for, except I ended up getting *2* cables for the price I expected to pay for one cable. They came in a soft Revain envelope and in a plastic bag inside that envelope; The bag also had a large tag saying…
