I didn't realize before that some Cat6 sockets can be too thick! These sockets work perfectly. as long as you don't try to cram them into a 6 port fascia where the keystone ports are very close together. I bought them specifically for this purpose and it was my fault I didn't get them. I ended up using other proprietary Cat6 connectors to get the job done and will use them elsewhere. The included perforation tray is very handy!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

These connectors are easy to insert and fit into patch panel ports.

These connectors are easy to mating and fit very well into patch panel connections. There is something I love about Cable Matters products. We just installed Ethernet in an old building and used all the Cable Matters equipment. Cable Matters products always give me the impression that they are a little better than the others. For example, I've snapped off several other brands of Keystone connectors when I had to remove them from the connector. I've never had a problem installing or removing…

Easy to install. Size too big for Keystone liners

I haven't checked the specs on these connectors yet but I'm giving 3 stars for the overall rating as they don't fit Keystone 6 earbuds due to the size and I have a small network in my Home office with 5 ports in the office and 3 in the rest of the house. So I would like to fit them in a smaller space than single trapezoidal panels or even 3 in height. It's just not possible. I give 3 stars for the ease of use when installing a Cat6 cable in a hole. I've never done this before and after a bit of

  • Unbelievable price

Okay, but there are two minor issues with flimsy plastic

I just finished a project with about 200 of these. It went really well, but if you're not careful when punching the wires directly into these connectors, the connector can really bend and break when you punch the wires through the ends. So I had to redo about 5 out of 200 due to weak plastic. Also, the little plastic plugs that snap into place at the ends barely hold in many cases, so when I put these plugs into the wall panels and into the walls, if the cables were bent a bit and pressed…

Pros
  • Economic pack of 25 category 6 KJ modules, including keystone cut-in stand for easier and safer cable termination; Percussion tool or 90 degree no tool finish

Not what I expected from this company.

Worst Cat6 keystone I've encountered Well that was a few ago days. I can now say in all honesty that these are by far the worst grade 6 trapezoid stones I have ever purchased or worked with. They also stand out for being the first and only keystone that just doesn't fit properly in a QuickTrex panel. I've actually started replacing each of them. Life is too short to waste time on things like this, but I also don't want to get angry every time I have to touch them.

Pros
  • Rugged construction includes an impact and fire resistant body with gold plated RJ45 contacts, two IDC covers and a locking clip for a secure connection
Cons
  • Very expensive

Use it all the time, no problem

So I quickly got these ports for Cat6 and not 6a as they are not for 6a and to be honest, the price is perfect. I get a great signal and they work very well. For a simple item they're fine, anyone talking about flimsy plastic is probably not too good or familiar with stamping tools. The photos I saw were a bit underwhelming as the wires were just stuffed there. With the right punch tool I had no problem, I even took a connector and punched through 30+ wires to match and label the wires. Using…
