Works great nothing bad to say about it

I've only used one of them so I don't know if the other two work but the one I used did , works well. My motherboard has two SATA connectors pointing at 90 degrees to the surface and two connectors pointing straight up. To simplify cable management, I wanted an additional 90 degree cable for my third drive and it worked. I like the length, not too long to get in the way but long enough to go where I need it. I love that it's all black so it blends in with other black cables and the black case.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it everything is fine

So this 3.5 year old computer is rebooting. The event log almost always shows I/O errors. So we change the SATA cable from the optical drive to HD and everything is fine for a few months, then it's back on! So we order this Sunday evening and he will be here on Monday. Installed, ran a half hour test with no I/O errors. Back in business! The exchange lasted about 20 seconds. Bottom line, these are SATA cables and they do what SATA cables are supposed to do for a good price.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

90Β° Plastic Larger than expected but works

I bought a set of red and black SATA cables to organize my two PC cases. RED for the SYSTEM drive and BLACK for additional storage and accessories. The cables "work" well, but my previous SATA 90Β° cable wasn't as "deep" and fitted my case perfectly. The 90Β° connector on them sticks out too far and hits the edge of my case. This may not be a problem with some designs or drive positions, but it has proven to be a snag for me. Just be careful when buying them to "save space" compared to a straight

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

LOST EVERYTHING ON MY HD

Bought these cables to connect one of my 500GB internal hard drives. At first everything looked normal and worked. Uploaded a few gigs of video and other files to a spare drive. The day after I booted up my computer, I noticed that my spare drive wasn't showing up with my other drives. I spent the day researching and researching how to recover my drive. Used disk management, disk part, unplug/plug power cable and sata cable, replace ports on motherboard and replace sata cable. When I swapped…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Works but bulky/cheap

UPDATE: It seems that the poor transfer write speed I did could be related to the cable or the hard drive, but it's hard to say what is to blame. Apart from that, he transferred about 100-150 Mbit/s. I'm still deducting 2 stars because the cable locks seem cheap and the ports are huge. They're not "oh, that's very big," they're so big the cable barely fits in my pocket (whereas a standard cable fits with plenty of room). They used cheap plastic, a cheap locking mechanism, and maybe cheap parts…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Was damaged
