Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ Cable Matters 5-Pack Snagless Ethernet Industrial Electrical: Enhanced Connectivity and Durability

High Performance Internet cable is Cat6 rated; The Ethernet cord with 24 AWG copper wire provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more. Cat6 performance at a Cat5e price but with higher bandwidth; Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Cat 5 cable network); Meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard. A Category 6 Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6 network cable, Cat6 cable, Cat6 Ethernet cable, or Cat 6 data/LAN cable. A wired Cat 6 data cable is more reliable and secure than a wireless network or Cat5 cable network for your internet connections. The connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain-relief boots provide durability, and ensure a secure connection; Bare copper conductors enhance cable performance and comply with specifications for communications cables. Flexible and durable RJ45 cable with high bandwidth of up to 550 MHz guarantees high-speed data transfer for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming.

True CAT6 Cat 6 Cables

I recently bought a couple of other so called CAT6 cables but when I cut them apart they didn't have the X shaped expander in the middle that was supposed to hold the four cables . twisted pairs are separated. However, when I cut one of those cables, I saw that it had an expander. I haven't tested their performance, but they appear to be true CAT6 cables.

Good short cable for connecting devices

This is a good length for connecting closely spaced devices such as a cable modem and a router, a router and an additional switch or patch panel to switch connections . However, they are not long enough to run cables in a rack. They're short enough so hopefully you won't need them. There are no hooks on the ends - they have a protective tab over the connector latch, but not a full body. I could see that they still get hooked from time to time. Interestingly, these cables come in a long box andโ€ฆ

Value for money, functionality

We try to color code important cables to remind others that some cables should not be disconnected without the potential problems that may arise to consider. To do this, important connections are made in our network with red wires, as a signal that "dragons will be here". These Cable Matters are the specified length, work well and come in a beautiful bright red colour. :-) It ticked all the boxes for this purchase.

these cables aren't good enough

Sorry CableMatters Cat6 cables are junk. In our very large corporate network infrastructure, we had all sorts of little sprites of problems. One of the problems was diagnosed as a bad cable. OK, it happens. cables fail. So we started to think of our other problems as cable problems. And one by one. All cables are different lengths (hence different retail packaging), we found that our gremlins were caused by bad cables, and all bad cables pulled were CableMatters cables. All other cables usedโ€ฆ

Excellent cable, has been working for four months with no problems!

Excellent cable. I bought some of these devices to connect my mining rig to a Netgear switch and they have been stable since February. The cable doesn't look cheap at all. They're not overly rigid, but again, there aren't any network issues or anything like that. This also runs after a 100ft Cat6 cable from my house to the barn. He seems to tolerate cold well, now also heat. Overall great product, would buy again. Overall, Cable Matters seems to have consistently great cables (no, I don't getโ€ฆ

4 out of 5 cables do not support 1Gbps

I ordered these Category 6 cables (5 7ft cables) the day before Thanksgiving and they arrived today. I had to get them because I upgraded my internet service to 1 Gbps. I was able to test my new link with this coil 6 I had. Started laying new cables today. I really needed two: one for the computer to the router and one from the router to the switch. Imagine my surprise when I tried the cable from the computer to the router. I went back to 100Mbps. I checked the other four and found that onlyโ€ฆ

Consistent Quality โ€“ Faster Speeds?

So I bought 20ft of cable and this pack of five to cut all my cables at once. We had some very old cables, two of which were broken. I realized that with all of our high-end computers, having outdated cables was ridiculous. It was definitely an upgrade from what we had and I have to admit there was a speed boost. I was hoping for more, but I managed to beat my usual top speeds by a few megabytes. I think "fast" is relative, but since we don't live in a place like San Francisco, I'm lucky enough
