Why They're Perfect

As a network technician with almost 20 years of experience, I know a little about network cabling. I will simplify because I understand that the average reader is not a network engineer. If you have a desktop switch (that literally sits on your desktop) and that switch acts as a device that connects your laptop, PC, NAS, printer, etc. within your reach, these Cat5Es are NOT the best choice. These patch cords are HARD, not soft. However, if you need to connect devices under the table (out of…

Good Cable - Wrong Size - Updated Review

I don't know what unit of measure or length of fishing history these guys used. But my 10ft cables were about 4ft long. More like connecting cables. The cable itself is of good quality. but if you want 10ft order 16ft. ;) UPDATE: Your customer service contacted me and assured me it was a Revain packaging error. They suggested replacing the cables. I changed my star rating from 2 to 4. The quality is very good.

Pros
  • Connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain relief covers ensure durability and a secure connection; Bare copper strands improve cable performance and meet communications cable specification
Cons
  • The list goes on.

These ethernet cables have a beautiful appearance.

These Ethernet cables look great. The RJ-45 connector is in one piece, as is the cable bag. These cables were packaged in a large bag with each cable individually wrapped. I already have them installed in our conference room and they are certainly Cat5e compliant. I would recommend these cables to anyone.

Pros
  • Category 5e Ethernet Cable is also known as Category 5e Network Cable, Category 5e Cable, Category 5e Ethernet Cable or Category 5e Data/LAN Cable. Meets or exceeds TIA/EIA 568-B Category 5e performance and is backwards compatible with Cat5 cabling
Cons
  • Style 90
