False advertising. Do not buy

This cable was advertised as Displayport 1.4, which means it should support 1080p at least at the advertised 165Hz, which it couldn't - only 100Hz. If it's DP 1.4, it should also be able to run 1080p at 240Hz. This is an absolute scam and not a DP 1.4 cable. Don't waste your time troubleshooting all your drivers and graphics cards/monitors - the junk cable is the problem. Do not buy. EDIT: If the DisplayPort cable does NOT say "VESA Certified" DO NOT BUY IT. Revain Basics has some VESA…

I'm glad I switched from DVI

I've been using a DVI cable for various monitors for about 10 years and the pins inside have finally failed. It's time to replace the cable. My new 144Hz monitor and 1070 GTX card were both DisplayPort compatible. I no longer have to deal with the hassle of aligning the pins and screwing things in afterwards. 144hz immediately in my Nvida control panel. Of course I had already installed the drivers for my monitor but that gave me the 144 option which HDMI didn't have. I can say for sure. I look

DO NOT BUY! in Computers & Accessories

Hello everyone! I hope you take my advice to heart. I tried this cable with my CHG70. Because of the cable, my screen kept flickering and only handled YCbCr422 correctly at 8-bit resolution. The cable couldn't run on anything with 10 bits per channel and wouldn't switch to RGB. I've seen a lot of positive feedback on this cable and I'll say the cable works at 1440p YCbCr422 144Hz at 8 bits, but people don't buy this cable for that, they buy this cable to conform to the VESA 1.4 DisplayPort…
