Nearly perfect! Best in Computers & Accessories

You'll probably want to buy one of these rectangular adapters for VR use cases: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0882RJRQMOST IMPORTANT: It actually supports a reliable USB 3 (16 ft.). I'm getting 1.8 -2.0 Gbps between first generation Oculus Quest and MBP 16.1. I'm really concerned about USB 3's lower latency since OculusLink doesn't require much bandwidth and any cable "works" with up-to-date software. I want to review the official cable, but overall I'm very happy with it since it does its job…

Works with Oculus Quest (but 10ft isn't enough)

not sold out. I got lucky and this one worked. For those trying this cable and trying to get it working, update the Oculus client/drivers on the PC to the latest version. Connect the cable and reset the quest. The PC should ask you if you want to set it up and Quest will ask you to confirm it's on and it should work. I tried connecting it a few dozen times before this happened, so don't give up. I also tested it with a right angle converter which also worked very well.

Use for external 10G

If you need 3m (10ft) and 10G speed over USB-C ports, this is the cheapest cable that works reliably. If the 10G signal doesn't regenerate halfway, at best, a demo run of what could be possible ends up, followed by massive damage that ruins the day. However, since this cable restores the signal halfway, everything is fine. The only other option is to use fiber, but you'll probably want to stay away from it unless you really need the distance as it's a lot more expensive than that cable. You…
