If you need 3m (10ft) and 10G speed over USB-C ports, this is the cheapest cable that works reliably. If the 10G signal doesn't regenerate halfway, at best, a demo run of what could be possible ends up, followed by massive damage that ruins the day. However, since this cable restores the signal halfway, everything is fine. The only other option is to use fiber, but you'll probably want to stay away from it unless you really need the distance as it's a lot more expensive than that cable. You don't want to use a TB3 cable unless you really have to because they have even shorter runs and get even more expensive if you have to go the distance. However, there is something to be said for being able to cram everything onto a 40 Gb/s cable. In my case I just need a 10G cable of this length, that's what I got.
