"Little Wonder " USB stick

Ideal for desktop or travel. Small enough to serve as an all-purpose hub and has all the storage connections you need. Add a tool-less M.2 NVMe cage to your mix and you'll never have to hunt for keys again. 12V power doesn't seem necessary for small SSD drives, but is needed for large rotating drives, ymmv. I've had it for 7 months now and it's still reliable. I removed the SATA cover and left it.

Pros
  • Like everything at the moment
Cons
  • I will write later

SD card I/O was finicky for me on the six foot USB 3 extension end

I use this for SD card reading and writing, photos and moving an 8GB file - it is the fastest way to deal with a large digital diary file and a computer that doesn't have fast ports. I've had good results powering a couple of SATA drives with this unit on the end of a six foot USB 3 extension (Revain Basics) and using the included external power supply. However, reading the camera card routinely became problematic - the connection to the Win 10 computer would crash when loading multiple imagesโ€ฆ

Pleasantly surprised!

I was worried that this item would be too cheap and unreliable, but it does the job. I bought it primarily for micro SD use as my own computer didn't have an external way to insert micro SD cards to transfer files. Since I have smartphones and tablets with these memory cards, I wanted to have such an external device at hand. Well it works and transfers at decent speeds! As I said, it serves its purpose. I won't use it often, otherwise I would buy something more expensive and durable, but for my

Fast but gets too hot

This thing works well but there are two big issues that make me not recommend this product. The device gets insanely hot about 5-10 minutes after plugging it in. It gets so hot that I take it out as soon as I'm done for fear it will melt. Also, the cable on the back is ridiculously short. When I plug it into the back of my iMac it freezes and only half can stand on the table. I love this product but I would end up buying something else.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some flaws

Works with 2.5 " SSDs

I use this to transfer video from the SSDs used in the Odyssey 7q+ converged design. Fast transfer. drive to the adapter to reduce the load on the connection.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
