Description of Cable Matters Snagless Shielded Ethernet

High Performance Cat6a, 26 AWG, RJ45, Shielded Ethernet Cable provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more. Cat6a performance at a Cat 5e price but with higher bandwidth; SSTP/SFTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding can prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduce crosstalk noise over the Cat 6a Ethernet cable. A Category 6a Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6a network cable, Cat6a cable, Cat6a Ethernet cable, or Cat 6a data/LAN cable. Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet); Meets or exceeds Category 6a performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard. The shielded connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain-relief boots provide durability, and ensure a secure connection; Bare copper conductors enhance cable performance and comply with specifications for communications cables. Flexible and durable Cat6a cable with high bandwidth of up to 550 MHz guarantees high-speed data transfer for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming.

Great cable! suitable for cables and connections

These are really good and durable cables. They snap easily and stay attached. I like that it doesn't have a chunky boot on the end. With them I get faster data transfer speeds and better internet speeds. I use them as a step down from the fiber optic coming into our buildings. Remember that your system will only run as fast as your slowest cable or device will run slower. If you have Cat 5e running in your house or throughout the building, you probably won't notice much of a difference unless…

Pros
  • Category 6a Ethernet patch cord is also known as Cat6a network cable, Cat6a cable, Cat6a Ethernet cable or Cat6a data/LAN cable. Prepare your network for the future of 10 Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet); Meets or exceeds TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6a performance
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Crazy fast! Especially with the length of the cable.

. The longer the cable that the signal has to travel through (your internet connection), the weaker the signal (your internet connection). The more additional electrical cables surrounding the cable run (power cables, TV cables, etc.), the weaker the signal. I ordered it with a max length of 200ft and found that my ISP's max speed is only about 6Mbps. . This is phenomenal given the tangle of cables I had to pull this unit through (strong signal interference) and the 200m distance the signal has

Great, durable Cat 6A cables

I've just fitted my house with Cat6A cables (see also [UL Listed] Cable Matters) in Blue - 1000 feet), there's no point in inferior cables being done to become. From my router >> switch >> patch panel >> wall keystones, all devices and cables are Cat 6A shielded, so it makes sense to use the same terminating resistors on the end devices. Connections are very easy to make (and more importantly, break). They are well packaged and of the 50+ cables of varying lengths (6ft to…

Crazy fast! Especially with the length of the cable.

For younger gamers and slightly less savvy physicists, here's a quick lesson on electromagnetism. The longer the cable that the signal has to travel through (your internet connection), the weaker the signal (your internet connection). I ordered it with a max length of 200ft and found that my ISP's max speed is only about 6Mbps. . This is phenomenal given the tangle of cables I

Pros
  • Shielded connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain relief sleeve for durability and secure connection; Bare copper strands improve cable performance and meet communications cable specifications
Cons
  • Damaged

A hero will rise from the darkness!

Tired of maintaining a reliable WiFi connection through three walls, a few rooftops, and a bunch of grumpy poltergeists, I set out for the unthinkable caught. I would run 150 feet of cable from the router to the computer. In the midst of the Mississippi summer heat, I dare to enter the derelict attic hell. I would drill through the walls. I crawled through tight spots in a sweat. I would have cursed like a sailor stung by a hornet and kept banging my head against every joist and rafter, but I…
