Does it take time to "warm up "?

The concept was good, but after I plugged it in, one of my screens 'did' for about an hour. (And sometimes it just doesn't work at all.) After that, everything works fine. I'm assuming it's the adapter because depending on the configuration I'm using, both monitors had the issue and both worked fine before I started using the adapter. This is annoying.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Can hurt

Just what I needed

I use dual monitors with my MacBook Pro. It has two Thunderbolt ports and I used two USB hubs to connect both HDMI cables. It never worked well - I had to connect all my cables in a very specific order and the connection was unreliable at best. Both hubs died within 3 months. I was skeptical that this simple dual HDMI flash would work, but it hasn't disappointed. No more untrusted connections.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

1 port, 2 monitors!

works as advertised, ready to use. Well made, and since you don't want any stress placed on the device, it should be durable. It's a little pricey but worth it for the work it does. Port Saver - One Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port for two HDMI monitors. Works great, leaves the HDMI computer open for a third monitor - as intended. (Apple Mac Mini (2018))

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • expensive

Just what you need to work with dual monitors

Works great! Out of the box, connected my two new Dell U2415s with 2 HDMI cables (not included) - 1 cable to HDMI 1 on one monitor and another cable to HDMI 2 on the second monitor - then I have the included Thunderport 3 -Cable connected to my new Mac mini 2018 and everything included. I set each monitor to the appropriate HDMI input setting (1 or 2) and the Mac immediately auto-detected each (both) monitor(s) - my Wacom tablet was already installed (old wired PTH-451 with new driver thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Works great on a 15 " MacBook Pro

This dual HDMI output worked great on my 15" MacBook Pro. The only problem I had was that I couldn't connect 3 displays to the 2 ports on the right side of the computer. Now it is connected to two connected displays on the left, and the other charging port is connected to a connected display on the right. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Secret

Hasn't worked since day one!

This adapter has not worked well from day one. I use this adapter to split my MacBook Pro into two monitors. One of the ports was faulty from the start. I will constantly be disconnected, buggy and stop working completely. I changed cables, monitor configurations, and anything else I could think of. I bought it last spring but used it for the first time this fall when my station was fully set up. No, I cannot return or receive product support. It feels like a waste of money!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
