You get what you pay for

The metal retaining springs broke when first inserted into the HD SAS connector. The cable works, but can slip out at any time.

Not good for production use, cable slips out

As another reviewer said, the cable does not stay in its connector. 10GTek makes a similar cable for about the same price, but it plugs securely into the port. I'm not sure if my cable is "broken" (that doesn't mean I'm abusing the cable), but you probably don't want SAS cables falling out of your hardware.

Not quite perfect, but good value for money.

It's hard to fret about cables that cost in the twenty-something bucks, especially when the big name brand options are *much* more expensive. However, the details of these cables are somewhat lacking - the frame around the connectors is rather flimsy and poorly placed. If the connector isn't inserted this way, there's a good chance you'll snag the cage and bend it, making it almost impossible. Additionally, there is a rubber O-ring at the base of the connector. That seems like a nice touch, but
