But wanted to give 5 stars.

I ordered this kit because CableMod has a very good reputation for the quality of their cables. Well what can I say other than I'm a little disappointed to say the least. All the cables I've used in this kit work perfectly except for one. The 24 pin cable doesn't seem to fit my PSU (which is on the compatibility list). I contacted CableMod and we'll see what they do.

Look fantastic, check all cables before installation

These cables look fantastic. got red and black blood. how that look. now they were a pain to assemble. The 8 pins for the GPU are not 8 by 8 pins, they are spliced 6 by 8 pins. was not satisfied with all this. thought that for this price you should get real 8 times 8 connections. I thought a couple of times that I didn't have all the necessary cables, but they ran out. Pay very close attention to the ends of the plug and save yourself the hassle of rerouting cables. all in all i would order the

Perfection meets quality and aesthetics

Nothing to say other than the fact that this replacement cable set is amazing, thick and flexible. The thickness of the cables suggests that the wiring and braiding doesn't come cheap. Being relatively thick, its flexibility allows for small bends when needed. Finally, the aesthetics are top-notch. It's perfect for a panda build as it strikes a balance between black and white. I would buy it again without question and would also recommend it to my family and friends who want to build a gaming…

I do not recommend buying this product.

I bought this set because I'm building a new PC. I have over $5000 for this build and I really wanted good cables. The quality of the cables is excellent. However, they will look like crap on your PC. Why? Because the pre-installed cable combs that come with this kit are not enough and do not meet the requirements. To make matters worse, you can't find a company anywhere that sells cable combs that fit these cables. I learned it the hard way. It doesn't matter if the cable quality is great if…

cable expensive? yes is it worth it someone yes!

These cables are of good quality. Case and caliber are ok. I use them on a seasonal Prime TX-850 Titanium machine. I believe they will work with the Asus Rog Thor as well as they are essentially seasonal devices. If you have a small tight case, please note that the PVC sleeve is quite stiff. Modflex is PVC, Modmesh is paracord. PVC is more resistant to abrasion. My RED and CARBON kit does not respond well to UV. It's ok as it wasn't my requirement but I checked it. One final note: both kits I…

Looks good but ugly

Pros: They look good and feel good. Cons: SOL if you have a graphics card that requires two 6-pin pins as only half of the cables are untagged, including the CPU and PCIEPCIE cables are 6-pin cables that split into 8-pin cables . only 6 wires at the end of the power supply Did I mention that the wires are not labeled? Have you ever managed your cables, only to find that what you thought was an 8-pin PCIE connector isn't really because of an irregularly shaped hole at the end of the cable? None…

Very nice looking cables. Great upgrade to standard cables

Cables look great, much better than before with standard cables. They are quite stiff but allowed me to bend them just enough for the sharp radius of the MB connectors. One thing I learned the hard way is to connect the MB connectors first and then apply to the power supply. I went the other way on the 24-pin MB connector first and found that it didn't twist exactly the way I wanted it to. Once I started with the MB and straightened the side behind the MB and all went well down to the basement.

Cool but probably stupid.

These cables are quite a bit smaller than the full custom set. I think it's way better than extensions because there's less clutter and fewer connections. The bad news is that the cables are surprisingly stiff and difficult to route around tight corners, even running in a large water-cooled chassis. That's silly because they're just for looks and they look really good compared to standard cables. much better, actually better than I expected. There's no obvious performance benefit and so that…
