Connection only up to 100mb. Confirmed speed from my switch.

Only connects to 100MB. Confirmed speed from my switch (Ubiquiti-ES24 lite) as well as my access point (Unifi-AC-Pro). Switched to a different cable (used Ortronics) and the connection became correct at 1GB. Returned and will not order from this manufacturer again.

Pros
  • Compliance to standards: EIA/TIA-568B category 5E
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Wire started to break

My rating for this is no star but I had to give a star to get my message across, I wanted to put this outside it was too cold so I ran through the house to my son's room it didn't work, went through the wire to see if there were any kinks found the wire was broken where you could see the internal wires had to tape it up for my son to use, couldn't get my money back , because I put it on the shelf and forgot it until my son came home from school and I had to use it, I will not buy from this…

Pros
  • 50 micron gold plated connectors to ensure clean and clear transmission.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Hot Garbage Best in Cables & Interconnects

This cable isn't even worth the $5 I paid for it. Cat5 definitely isn't. It doesn't even meet the Category 3 specification. The pairs are not twisted and the conductors are not copper. The conductors are probably made of a cheap alloy. At first I thought it was just tinned copper, but the resistivity is 12 ohms on 75 feet of 24 gauge wire. It roughly corresponds to the resistance index of iron or tin. It will not stick to a magnet. Tin is slightly more expensive than copper at cm^3, so I doubt…

Pros
  • Extremely high quality 350MHz Cat5e interconnect cables
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
