The description says it has two layers but it is very thin. Maybe because two-ply bamboo is the same as single-ply regular toilet paper? It has low absorbency, so you have to pull out a large amount of toilet paper every time. I might try other brands to see if the problem is the same with all bamboo toilet paper, and if so, I might go back to regular toilet paper.

I wanted to give her a leap of faith when in doubt so I waited to use up the entire package. First, you have to use a lot more than regular tp, which defeats the purpose of going green. The core is much thicker so at first it might look like you're getting a regular TP roll, but it's smaller, it falls apart when you roll it out, it makes you feel like you're really are clean or that there is still TP left, so you are not comfortable. I would not recommend it

My husband and I have been looking for a more sustainable choice for our home, especially with a baby on the way. We use a lot of paper products between us and our 5 pets, so finding alternatives to them seems like a wise place to start. This is by no means soft toilet paper. It takes a little getting used to, but you still end up using it for a short time.
