Every part of this set was awesome for my first experience making a homemade decorated cake, except the cake cutter. It was very flimsy and was impossible to use so I just used a break knife and that worked just fine! If you can find another set with everything except the cutter that is cheaper I would go with the other one. Other than that the items were great!

needed an off-set spatula, got a bonus of 63 pieces of cake decorating gadgets, including a cake leveler to replace the homemade one I have been using. (now I can return my hacksaw to my tool kit). Can't wait to try some of the decorating tips. The e-manual proved very helpful, once I found how to scan a QR Code! How simple - now I'm looking for more QR Codes to scan. I really enjoyed using this cake set. It was fun. But because the cake stand is made of plastic it does not give you a smooth, clean and fast spin like a metal one would give. It will definitely get you by if you're an amateur cake maker.
