NANTWare Compostable Straws by Calcean (200) Review

We love these straws! We tried them because they are harmless to echoes and have proven to be extremely durable. They also have a pleasant texture and mouthfeel. We tested it for strength and durability and left one in a glass of water for three days and it held up fantastic. These are the only straws we use now.

Very strong even if left liquid for several hours. Straws can be reused after washing, but they tend to absorb the flavor of some drinks. We noticed this when using it in a spicy Bloody Mary. Straws are not flexible, but we are willing to give up flexibility for a positive contribution to the environment.

My son says they look a bit odd but I don't see much difference between them and plastic. My only concern is that they may be commercially composted, but will they really end up there if I throw them in the trash? I have no idea. I don't want to be cynical, but as much as I'd like to be as green as possible, I'm not sure these efforts are really delivering anything. I hope I'm wrong. Well, it wasn't the best review I've written, but oh well.
