The suit is good - a typical material for children's suits, slightly stretchy but looks good overall. Not the right size! The first time I ordered a large, one size larger than the size chart says. It is said to fit 58 inches and 100 pounds. My son is 54 inches 74 pounds and this was way too small! The pant leg ended above his ankle and the Velcro gaped at the top of his shoulders.

I bought a big one. My son is a skinny size 8 and I still pull up 4-5 notches on his pants. (He's very slim) It sits on him like a shirt. (He's wearing his underpants and that's all that's underneath.) PS: We live in a warm climate so we can handle it, but if you live in 4 season weather I would suggest sizing up , so that the thermal underwear also fits in. . It will be disposable. My little six year old fits little one perfectly. It has the perfect amount of detail and color. I also compare it to the ninja costume my other six year old chose, which looks boring, is even cheaper, and doesn't even have a face mask, more like a scarf that doesn't hold up like a mask. In comparison, this costume is amazing. LOL The mask is like a surgical mask and holds up really well, the stitching on the chest is cool and the red ties add some color.

I ordered this for my 7 year old and he loves it. The size grid is a bit off so I went up a size just in case. My son is 53" and wears a US size 10 boy pants, the oversized regular pants fit perfectly, the legs reach to his heels and fit well over his shoes. The size chart on the back of the box calls for "small" for a 53 inch person, obviously that wouldn't work. Use number sizes (6-8), (8-10), (10-12), etc. and choose the larger size and you will be happy.

I bought this suit for my 6 year old boy. He is a big ninja fan and liked to dress up as one of them. I bought the small (6-8) for my 5 year old son because I read reviews that it runs small. He is of average height, thin, not stocky, with broad shoulders. So when you take him out the legs look long but they fit so they go over his legs and don't stretch. Although it suits him very well.
